MIND CHOIR DEBUTS FIRST SINGLE, ‘MILES’

Later this summer, Wilkes-Barre-based psychedelic groove-rock band Mind Choir will release its full-length debut album. But first the 4-piece will put out the single, “Miles,” as part of a split 7-inch with Doghouse Charlie & The Buck Knife on June 2. It will also be available via the major digital platforms.

You can hear an exclusive stream of “Miles,” Mind Choir’s debut single, below.

“‘Miles’ deals with elements of solitude, having an understanding of the concept and being OK with it,” says Mind Choir’s Mark Wohl. “It’s a realization that we’re all alone, regardless of any relationship, companionship or friendship. It’s a positive outlook on accepting that idea while realizing the struggle of consequence that can arise within that.”

Wohl, DJ Tasselmyer and Mark Dimirco formed Mind Choir in 2016; Janson Harris joined in February of this year.

Mind Choir has several upcoming shows scheduled:

07.15.17 // NEPA Gaze & Psych Fest @ Bart and Urby’s // Wilkes-Barre, PA
07.29.17 // NEPA’s 1st Psych And Doom Fest @ The Sherman Showcase // Stroudsburg, PA
09.01.17 // Satellite Ranch Music And Arts Festival @ Mountain Sky // Jermyn, PA
09.29.17 – 10.01.17 // Allentown Arts Fest @ Cedar Beach // Allentown, PA
