The fourth annual Peach Music Festival kicked off Thursday night at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain just outside of Scranton, Pa. It’s the first Peach Fest since the 2014 dissolution of the Allman Brothers Band, the event’s founding band, but there’s still a heavy Allmans family flavor to the event, with sets from band members Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes and Jaimoe on Friday. There is also a strong Grateful Dead feel to Peach, with Dead vocalist/guitarist Bob Weir scheduled for a Saturday night set with Billy And The Kids – the group led by Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann – and a Sunday afternoon performance slated with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Additionally, long-time Dead contributor Bruce Hornsby will perform with his own band, The Noisemakers, Saturday afternoon. You can find the full Peach schedule for the weekend here.

Below, check out Pati Bobeck’s photos from Friday’s Peach performances by Gregg Allman, Trombone Shorty, Australian Pink Floyd, Jaimoe’s Jassz Band and The Heavy Pets.
