Madrid band Hinds played two sold-out shows at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn earlier this week, their first shows in the US in more than four years. Coming off 15 shows at South By Southwest, the group said it was one of the best New York crowds they have played to. The strong performance came despite a broken guitar string in the middle of the set, which forced them to borrow a guitar from Bodega, the opener.

Hinds’ new single, “Coffee,” is its first since it returned to its original configuration as a duo of co-vocalists and co-guitarists (Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote).

One of the biggest indie acts to ever come from Spain, Hinds have released three albums: “Leave Me Alone” (2016), “I Don’t Run” (2018) and “The Prettiest Curse” (2020). They’ve performed at Coachella and Glastonbury, opened for Coldplay and The Strokes and collaborated with Chanel and Stella McCartney.
