NOXEN UNCOILS ‘RATTLESNAKE’ ON FIRST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM (VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Noxen recently released “Rattlesnake,” the Samuel O’Connell-led project’s first full-length album. Following on from the first EP, 2018’s “Jesus Didn’t Take,” the 10-track set finds O’Connell and his bandmates, who are his siblings, expanding their reach sonically and lyrically.

O’Connell, from the tiny municipality of Noxen in Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Back Mountain, recently chatted about the creation of “Rattlesnake,” the role his hometown plays in his songwriting and the group’s show at Karl Hall in Wilkes-Barre with Wild Pink and and Joe Burke & Co. on Thursday, April 28.
