MASON PORTER TO HOST FESTIVAL IN THE POCONOS

Philadelphia-area Americana outfit Mason Porter recently announced that it will host the inaugural Midnight Mountain Music Show festival at the Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground in Blakeslee, Pa. The festival in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania will be held Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12

From the festival’s website: “Taking the name from one of their songs the festival will host a variety of American Roots acts from rock to folk, country, bluegrass and everything in between. Additionally the festival will host a chili cook-off, kids activities, vendors and more.”

In addition to Mason Porter, the festival lineup will include the Kalob Griffin Band; Caroline Reese and the Drifting Fifth; Hinton, Bower, Jones; The Wallace Brothers Band; Lovers League; Ben Smith; and Lady Bird. More acts will be announced, according to the website.
