BRIGGS FARM HIGHLIGHTS: SHEMEKIA COPELAND, LIL’ ED, THE CAMPBELL BROTHERS

The long-running Briggs Farm Blues Festival returned to Nescopeck, Pa., last weekend for three days of performances featuring main-stage sets by Shemekia Copeland, Ana Popovic, The Campbell Brothers, Victor Wainwright & The Train, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials and more. Back porch stage artists included The National Reserve, King Solomon Hicks and Pappy & Justin Mazer.

Festival organizers are already looking forward to next year, when Briggs will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Taking to Facebook, they revealed that the 2022 festival will be held July 7, 8 and 9.
