WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Prolific singer, songwriter and storyteller brought his tour in support of his latest studio album, “Cash Cabin Sessions, Vol. 3,” to the FM Kirby Center on June 11.
Snider, whom we chatted with last year in advance of the rescheduled November concert, recorded the album at the Cash Family Cabin, owned by Johnny Cash’s family, in Hendersonville, Tenn, where Snider moved after his divorce. He says he’s become “really connected” to the studio over the years; for the new record he even used some of Johnny Cash’s instruments.
In September, Snider will play three shows with a new band — Neal Casal, Ken Coomer, Chad Staehly and Jesse Aycock.
