King Khan & The Shrines, gearing up for the September release of their first album in six years, have released a video for “Darkness.” The clip was written, directed and produced by Benjael Halfmaderoz/Hylas Film and was debuted at the New York Times Style blog yesterday.
“Idle No More” is out Sept. 3 on Merge Records, and the band’s fall tour includes stops on Oct. 30 at Webster Hall and Halloween at Union Transfer.
You can view the video below, and in the music player at the top right of our site, you can stream “Born To Die,” a ramshackle track more in the vein of what you might expect from King Khan; it will also be included on “Idle No More.”
