Neil Young has released three versions of a new song, “Who’s Gonna Stand Up” — a live version with Crazy Horse, an orchestral version and a solo acoustic version. You can hear all three versions below.
The new song will be included on Young’s November album “STORYTONE.”
“The song was originally performed at a Crazy Horse shows U.K. this summer and more recently part of Young‘s solo acoustic set at Farm Aid Sept. 13, at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina,” Young’s record label Warner Bros. said in a press release. “The audience did indeed stand up and sing along in unison in support of the song’s plea to end our dependence of fossil fuels and realize our responsibility to protect our earth’s fragile eco systems to ensure the quality of life for future generations.”
