The Jayhawks with special guest Sarah Lee Guthrie performed on June 16 at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem, Pa. The Jayhawks, one of the originators of alt country, most recently released the studio album “Back Roads and Abandoned Motels.” Sarah Lee Guthrie, the daughter of Arlo Guthrie and granddaughter of Woody Guthrie, has released several albums and has also sung words written by her legendary grandfather and performed on stage with Pete Seeger at Carnegie Hall when she was a teenager.
