RECORD STORE DAY AT EMBASSY VINYL

RECORD STORE DAY AT EMBASSY VINYL

As we count down to Record Store Day, today we offer a brief look at what will be happening Saturday at Embassy Vinyl in downtown Scranton (352 Adams Ave.). The store has a full slate of live performances presented by Get Cryptic beginning at 2 p.m. and running until 7 p.m.: Langor (aka Brian Langan of The Sw!ms), Kid Icarus, Mascara and Microwaves.

Embassy owner R.J. Harrington tells us he’ll also be giving away “lots of free music” as well as chances to win a brand new turntable and tickets to the April 30 Ted Leo show at the Vintage Theater, which also features Eww Yaboo and the aforementioned Langor.

Here’s a NSFW video of Mascara’s “16th Street Baptist.”
