Jersey City outfit Land of the Look Behind will hold its debut album-release party on Saturday at World Cafe Live. The group, “a collaboration of musicians who blend the warm nostalgia of Americana with traditional Latin and African rhythms,” includes a slew of guests on the album, “Poor’s a Snake,” including Pennsylvania collective Moonlight Forest. You can “Moonlight Lullaby,” which nicely illustrates some of the band’s hushed, easygoing music, below.

Land of the Look Behind — JK Young (lead vocals, guitar and keys) and Kevin Spyker (vocals, lead guitar, percussion) — has performed at New York-area rooms including Pete’s Candy Store, Europa and ACME Lounge, as well as citywide events JC Studio Artists Tour, JC Fridays, Monroe Center and Grove Street Plaza.  LOTLB has played with Philadelphia standouts like Hezekiah Jones, Spinning Leaves, Chris Kasper and Tin Bird Choir, as well.
