JESUS AND MARY CHAIN ADD TOUR DATES, CELEBRATE 30th YEAR OF ‘PSYCHOCANDY’

Pioneering Scottish outfit The Jesus and Mary Chain, who are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album “Pyschocandy,” have confirmed a full North American tour, including a second date at The Warfield in San Francisco (full tour dates below the video).

“Psychocandy” is considered one of the seminal albums that helped launch the shoegaze genre. The band was founded in 1983, officially broken up in 1999 and reunited in 2007. In 2014, the band signed a deal with Alan McGee of Creation Records fame, making The Jesus and Mary Chain the first act to sign to his newly created Creation Management. The 30-year celebration of “Psychocandy” began with a string of dates in 2014.
