INTERPOL HITS D.C., PHILLY and BROOKLYN IN LEAD-UP TO NEW ALBUM RELEASE

Interpol performed at The Anthem in Washington, D.C., on May 10, touring in advance of its upcoming seventh studio album, “The Other Side of Make-Believe.”

The band from New York City also  played last week at The Met in Philadelphia and a two-night run at King’s Theater in Brooklyn.

Last month, the group premiered “Toni,” the first single from the new record, which will be released July 15 on Matador Records. Interpol also released a two-part film directed by Van Alpert on YouTube. Next week, Interpol will play in Pasadena, Calif., before heading to Mexico City and Europe before more U.S. dates beginning Aug. 25 at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, N.J.
