Cass McCombs has teamed with the Meat Puppets to release a split 7-inch, featuring two new McCombs songs (“Night of the World” and “Evangeline”), while the Meat Puppets tackled a version of the Everly Brothers classic “Cathy’s Clown” and “(Hey Baby), Que Paso” by Texas Tornados. The 7-inch was released Oct. 28 on Domino Records.
McCombs and the Meat Puppets will play at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn this Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1.
