TRENT REZNOR, ATTICUS ROSS RELEASE ‘PATRIOTS DAY’ SOUNDTRACK
On Friday, Lakeshore Records released the “Patriots Day” original soundtrack, which features a score by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The film opened in limited released on Dec. 21 and expanded nationwide this weekend.
Says Director Peter Berg: “Trent and Atticus are a dream team. Stunning taste and vicious work ethic. I am humbled by their talent and passion.”
ARCADE FIRE VIDEO RELEASES COMING SOON
Two new Arcade Fire video releases — “The Reflektor Tapes” and “Live At Earls Court” — will be released as a 2-DVD and Blu-ray on Jan. 27 and on digital video on Feb. 27.
“The Reflektor Tapes,” which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, “transports the viewer to a kaleidoscopic sonic and visual landscape that reveals the creative process behind the Grammy Award-winning band Arcade Fire’s fourth studio album Reflektor,” according to a press release from Eagle Rock. Meanwhile, “Live at Earls Court” shows the band’s June 4, 2014, performance at the London venue (tracklist below the video).

MINTON’S IN HARLEM REOPENS WITH NEW CHEF
The historic Harlem jazz club, Minton’s (206 W. 188th St., New York, NY), reopened Jan. 11 with an all-new menu from Executive Chef Joseph “JJ” Johnson.
Upcoming performances include, according to a press release:
- George Braith on January 14: Soul-jazz legend George Braith will grace the stage — he is a multi-reedist who often plays a saxophone in each hand.
- Shunzo Ohno on January 21: A renowned trumpeter who has performed with greats around the world, Ohno is considered one of the most versatile and influential trumpeters in modern jazz.
- Tim Green Quartet on January 27: Saxophonist, composer and arranger Tim Green melds hard bop, fluid modernity and soulful gospel, and he has emerged as a powerful new voice in jazz.
