Rising Canadian singer/songwriter/dancer Tate McRae performed March 31 at Irving Plaza a day before announcing the May 27 release of her debut album, “I Used To Think I Could Fly.” McRae, 18, is joined on this tour by Mimi Webb and Gayle.
McRae has racked up more than 3.2 billion streams, over 700 million video views and had a No. 1 single with “You Broke Me First” and has collaborated on hits with Kahlid, DJ Regard & Troye Sivan, blackbear and Jeremy Zucker. She has released the EPs “All The Things I Never Said” and “Too Young To Be Sad.”
Her headline tour continues through April 16. She’ll support Shawn Mendes this fall, including a Oct. 26 show at Prudential Center in Newark.
