Slayer brought its Final Campaign farewell tour to the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa., on Nov. 6. The band has been playing its extensive farewell tour since the spring of 2018, closing it out on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 at The Forum in LA. While many bands, most recently Motley Crue, have changed their minds after announcing their finales, it appears the Slayer will stick to its guns.
“Thank you. Thank you very much,” frontman Tom Araya told the crowd at the final show, according to Blabbermouth. “I want to thank you for sharing your time with us. Time is precious. So I thank you for sharing that time with us. Thank you. I’m gonna miss you guys. But the most important thing I want to thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you. Good night. You guys be safe.”
Guitarist Kerry King’s wife said via social media that there is “not a chance in hell” the band will play together again, according to Loudwire.
