GENE WEEN DOES BILLY JOEL AT THE KIRBY CENTER

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Aaron Freeman, aka Gene Ween, brought his “Geen Ween Does Billy Joel” show to the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. Backed by a 7-piece band led by Paul Green (who runs the Paul Green School Of Rock locations), the group presents an evening of authentic renditions of Joel’s biggest songs.

Following the Wilkes-Barre show, Gene Ween — one-half of the beloved, quirky Philly-area band Ween — swung through towns including Bethlehem, Westbury (Long Island, N.Y.) and Woodstock, where he and the group performed at Levon Helm’s Barn.
