BROKE PINES TALK BAND ORIGINS, DEBUT NEW SONG

Broke Pines are a new band of musicians with a lot of experience playing in Northeast Pennsylvania: Sean Flynn of Those Clever Foxes and American Buffalo Ghost, Jeremy Burke and Dave Connors of Jung Bergo, and Steve Werner, a drummer who was in Blinded Passenger and works in musical therapy. Some of the band members knew each other for years, others had never met before. The band says the initial idea was to start an alt country band, but different sounds have come into play as well.

We recently chatted with the group about how this project  feels different than others they’ve been in, how they feed off each other, mutual influences and more. The band is also debuting a brand new song, “Whatever You Wanted.” You can watch the interview and stream the track below.
