The seemingly dormant Philadelphia/New York band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah on Thursday announced “Hysterical,” their first new album in four years, which will be released Sept. 20. It will be CHYSY’s first album since 2007’s “Some Loud Thunder.” The band is teasing material from “Hysterical” in a trailer video, which you can view below.
CYHSY also announced that it will re-relase its self-titled debut album on vinyl June 14 and undertake a tour composed of two U.S. festival dates — The Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco and the Sunset Junction Festival in Los Angeles, both in August — and a European run.
