The Beths’ music is the kind that is meant to be played and experienced live. At Webster Hall last week on their U.S. tour, the band was just as chummy between the songs — it felt like a bunch of really good friends on stage who love playing music, even introducing each other one by one in a round-robin style.
Last fall, the New Zealand band released the live album “Auckland, New Zealand, 2020.” The band will wrap up its U.S. tour with dates at Metro in Chicago on March 2 and Fine Line in Minneapolis on March 4 before a run of shows in Australia, New Zealand and Europe will take it through the end of April.
