Canadian indie rockers Metric played a two-night run at Brooklyn Steel on Wednesday and Thursday, promoting its eighth studio album, “Formentera.” Metric’s set included a heavy dose of the new record, including the show’s opening song, the lengthy “Doomscroller.” The band also peppered the performance with catalog favorites like “Help I’m Alive” and “Combat Baby” as well as a four-song encore. The Brooklyn shows wrapped up the US tour, with the band next scheduled to hit the road in January and February for concerts in Ireland, the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
