Brit Floyd returned to the FM Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on May 21 as part of its brand-new production celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon.” The tribute band, formed in Liverpool in 2011, performed a healthy dose of selections from “Dark Side” but also featured music from classic albums like “Wish You Were Here” and “Animals,” deep cuts from “The Final Cut” and music from Floyd’s catalog all the way up to 1994’s “The Division Bell,” which also marked the end of Pink Floyd’s touring career. Brit Floyd features long-time guitarist, vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington as well as Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo and Eva Avil. Over the years, the group has played sold-out tours in Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East, including at legendary venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks and the Royal Albert Hall.

The band will continue to tour through the summer, winding across  the United States and Canada before returning to the Northeast for shows in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania in August.
