Massachusetts folk/punk band Bella’s Bartok will bring its “Change Yer Life” album release tour to the Bullfrog Brewery on Thursday, May 19.
The 6-piece group plays a brand of Bohemiam klezmer punk and describes itself thusly: “To understand Bella’s Bartok, imagine what you would get it Salvador Dali and Toulouse Lautrec were fronting the Moulin Rouge’s house band.”
“Change Yer Life,” released in March, “contains the songs and sounds as they are meant to be heard; the tunes refined to reflect their individual intentions,” says mandolin player Jesse Putnam.
