Legendary singer, songwriter and keyboardist Steve Winwood performed to a sold-out crowd on Monday at the FM Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the frontman of the group Traffic, Winwood is also known for a series of solo hits including “Back in the High Life Again,” “Valerie” and “The Finer Things.”
In addition to his solo dates, which include East Coast shows through the end of September, he recently opened some nights for Tedeschi Trucks Band and sat in with them on a Sly and the Family Stone medley.
