Cabinet rang in the 2014 with a packed house in West Chester, Pa.  The Note was the setting for three sets of the band’s signature jamgrass sound.  Legendary sax man and frequent Cabinet collaborator Ron Holloway (Warren Haynes Band) sat in for two sets, and the midnight “Dead Set” kicked off off with “Midnight Moonlight” a staple of the Jerry Garcia Band’s live shows.  Cabinet jammed Grateful Dead classics into the wee hours of New Year’s Day.

The show capped off a momentous year for Cabinet, which played many high-profile dates and festivals, including the Peach Festival and its own Old Farmers Ball, both at Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton.  The latter returns as Susquehanna Breakdown this May.
