On Oct. 22, Best Coast will release a 7-track mini album, “Fade Away,” on Bethany Cosentino’s Jewel City label.
According to a press release, the new tracks are inspired by “Mazzy Star, Patsy Cline, My Bloody Valentine and Ambien.” In November, Best Coast will begin recording a new album, slated for a spring release, according to the press release.
“Fade Away” will be the band’s first release since last year’s “The Only Place,” Best Coast’s second full-length recording.
