After several cryptic transmissions on Facebook and Twitter, Arcade Fire posted an interactive video for “Reflektor,” the title track for their upcoming album. You can also watch a standard version of the video below. David Bowie confirmed that he sang backup on the track.
On Monday, the Canadian band performed a secret show at Montreal salsa club Salsathèque before 200 audience members, according to reports.
“Reflektor” will be released Oct. 29. The band will perform on the season premier of “Saturday Night Live” on Sept. 28.
My husband and I were near the front of the line yesterday for the secret show. Drove two hours from Ottawa to Montreal. It was an absolutely surreal experience to hear Arcade Fire perform their new material in front of such a small audience! Can’t wait for their new album.
